2 001 SP-PAL Date: July 21, 1959. First flight. Pilots: test pilot engineer Andrzej Abłamowicz and test pilot Aleksander Wąsowicz. On September 17, 1963, a crash occurred. The entire crew perished: Captain Mieczysław Miłosz, co-pilot Aleksander Wąsowicz, test engineer Jerzy Żupański, observer Jerzy Hołowienko, and observer Jadwiga Sajewska. Honor to Their Memory! The tailplane fell off as a result of flutter. The aircraft crashed into the ground in a flat, backward spin near Białobrzegi, over the town of Bronisławów.
3 002 SP-PBD Date January 7, 1961. The first flight was performed by Ludwik Natkaniec and J. Wyganowski. This aircraft already had its final passenger cabin configuration and almost complete equipment. It was painted in a pattern that everyone appreciated. The paint scheme was designed by designer Jerzy Misztal. The last names are a coincidence with the chief designer.
4 MD-12 F Product 43 SP-PBL Date July 21, 1962. The first flight was performed by Andrzej Abłamowicz and J. Wyganowski. A photogrammetric aircraft. In 1967, it was transferred to the Polish Aviation Museum, then the Museum of Aviation and Space Travel, where it remains to this day (2019). The aircraft was restored in 2017-2018.
