Three Mil Mi-6 A helicopters were operated in Poland. In 1974-1986 as civilian, and in 1986-1990 as military. They were given side numbers 063 (ex SP-ITA), 670 (ex SP-ITB) and 671 (ex SP-ITC). There are 670 (ex SP-ITB) in the Air Force Museum in Dęblin.
In December 2015, the last Mil Mi-6 helicopter, out of three operated in Poland, was transported from Łódź to Dęblin and regained its museum value there. Currently, it is one of the most valuable exhibits at the Air Force Museum in Dęblin at the School of Eaglets.
