Assault aircraft Ilyushin Il-10, AVIA B-33.

The Ilyushin Il-10 is a Soviet attack aircraft developed at the end of World War II at OKB Ilyushin. The Il-10 aircraft was mass produced in the CCCP. Also after the war, it was produced in Czechoslovakia as the Avia B-33.

In Poland, only three copies remain in museums; one in the Polish Army Museum in Warsaw, another in the Polish Aviation Museum in Krakow and the third in Drzonowo near Zielona Góra. In Warsaw there is a version of the Illyushin Il-10 serial number 5523, donated to the Museum by the Air Force Headquarters on 15 October 1957. The aircraft has armament consisting of two 23 mm calibre WJa cannons and two 7.62 mm calibre machine guns of the SzKAS type. The other two aircraft are the version produced in Czechoslovakia as AVIA B-33. The Kraków example has armament consisting of four 23 mm calibre cannons of the NS-23 type.

The AVIA B-33 nb 11 aircraft is a specimen on display at the historic park in Drzonowo. Due to atmospheric conditions; rain, snow and autumn leaves, the aircraft requires renovation practically every few years. After each renovation, the aircraft looks like it came from the factory.
