Zmontowano go pośpiesznie, aby zdążyć na defiladę w dniu 22 lipca. Pierwszy lot wykonano 17.07.1952r. a pilotem był major pilot Eugeniusz Pniewski. W dniu 27.09.1952r. dostarczony do 13 PLM Bemowo. Następnie używany w 59 PSz-B Biała Podlaska. W dniu 10.08.1961r. podczas podchodzenia do lądowania nagle samolot zanurkował i uderzył w ziemię. Ppor Włodzimierz Wierzba zginął.
