All Polish MiG-21 F-13s were built at CCCP in Gorki as type 74 during 1961-1963.
1 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 1217 No. 741217 – the first MiG-21 in Poland. He came to the Aviation Training Center (CSL) to Modlin. Then up to 4/2. PLM Goleniów. After leaving the service, the plane was transferred to a school in Zamość. In 1994 it was sold to a foreign collector in the city of Hermeskeil (southwest Germany). Currently (2019) it is a large private museum – Flugausstellung P. Junior. The museum is located on the national road B327. The MiG-21 F-13 is completely painted gray. There are no "chessboards" or side numbers on it.
In September 1962, eight aircraft were delivered to Poland. In January 1963, four aircraft were delivered to the 62nd PLM Krzesiny.
2 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 802 No. 740802 – the plane went directly from CCCP to Krzesin. Here the aircraft was picked up and on 1963-09-14, transferred to the 1st PLM Minsk Mazowiecki. In August 1964, the aircraft was transferred to the 26th PLM Zegrze Pomorskie. The aircraft was also used in the 13th PLM Łęczyca and in the 2nd PLM Goleniów. In October 1973, sold to Syria. In Syria, after submission, he was flown on 1973-10-28 by pilot-captain Czesław Stawski.

In August 1964, the aircraft was transferred to the 26th PLM Zegrze Pomorskie. The aircraft was also used in the 13th PLM Łęczyca and in the 2nd PLM Goleniów. In October 1973, sold to Syria. In Syria, problems occurred when fuel leaked from the left wing tank. Wings were brought from Poland from another aircraft. Therefore, the MiG-21 F-13 aircraft was flown three times in Syria: 1973-10-29, 1973-11-07, 1973-11-08. Major Zbigniew Biedrzycki was always the pilot.

On 1965-10-13 the plane was crashed near the village of Chlebówek. Lieutenant Cyril Royal was killed in the catastrophe.

The aircraft was not qualified for sale to Syria. Withdrew from the state on 1977-10-03 and was forwarded to COSSTWL (Central Training Center – Air Force Technical School). Then as a monument at the 2nd Material and Technical Base in Kutno-Sklęczki in Kutno. In 2011, the Base was liquidated and the plane was transported to the Museum in Dęblin.
7 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 807 No. 740807 – the plane went directly from CCCP to Krzesin. Here the aircraft was picked up and on 1963-09-14, transferred to the 1st PLM Minsk Mazowiecki. In August 1964, the aircraft was transferred to the 26th PLM Zegrze Pomorskie. The aircraft was also used in the 13th PLM Łęczyca and in the 2nd PLM Goleniów. He finished his flights in 1973. The aircraft was not qualified for sale to Syria. Withdrawn from the state on 1977-10-03 and was transferred to COSSTWL (Central Training Center – Air Force Technical School) in Oleśnica.

The aircraft was transferred to the 11th PLM Debrzno, and then (1964) to the 40th PLM Świdwin. On 1965-06-23 or 1965-06-25, the plane was crashed near the town of Pod attbiec. Captain Eugeniusz Mochnacki was killed in the crash.
14 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2007 No. 742007 – the aircraft was delivered on 1962-09-19. It was used at CSL Modlin, then in 2/4 PLM Goleniów. In October 1973, sold to Syria. On 1973-10-28 in Syria, flown by Captain Szymon Krup.
15 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2008 No. 742008 – the aircraft was delivered on 1962-09-19. It was used at CSL Modlin, then from 1967-04-17 in 26. PLM Zegrze Pomorskie. In October 1973, sold to Syria. On 1973-1026 in Syria, flown by Captain Szymon Krup.

17 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2015 No. 742015 – the aircraft was delivered on 1962-09-21. It was used in CSL Modlin. On 1962-10-22 he was transferred to the 62nd PLM Krzesiny. In 1973, handed over to COSSTWL (Central Training Center – Air Force Technical School). In 2004 he went to a private museum in Lublinek. It was painted in camouflage and was given a white board number. In 2011, transported to the museum in Dęblin.
18 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2016 No. 742016 – the aircraft was delivered on 1962-09-19. It was used in CSL Modlin. On 1962-10-22 he was transferred to the 62nd PLM Krzesiny. On 1963-11-20 or 1963-11-23 an accident occurred, which was a collision with the MiG-21 F-13 nb 2220 aircraft. Pilot lieutenant Wawrzyniec Czapiga.
19 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2017 No. 742017 – the aircraft was delivered on 1962-09-19. It was used in CSL Modlin. On 1962-10-22 he was transferred to the 62nd PLM Krzesiny. Then the plane went to 3. PLM Strachowice, 13. PLM Łęczyca, 2/4 PLM Goleniów. On 1973-01-11 the plane was crashed.

22 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2220 No. 742220 – the aircraft was delivered on 1963-01-11, directly to the 62nd PLM Krzesiny. On 1963-11-20 or 1963-11-23 an accident occurred, which was a collision with the MiG-21 F-13 nb 2016 aircraft. The aircraft was permanently damaged and could not be repaired.

He wore a black side number. In October 1973, sold to Syria. On 1973-10-25 in Syria, flown by Captain Czesław Stawski.
25 MiG-21 F-13 type 74 nb 2307 No. 742307 – the aircraft was delivered on 1963-01-11, directly to the 62nd PLM Krzesiny. Then used in 3. PLM Strachowice, 13. PLM Łęczyca and in 2/4. PLM Goleniów. He finished his flights in 1973. He was not qualified for sale and did not go to Syria. It was transferred to COSSTWL (Central Training Center – Air Force Technical School). Withdrawn from the state on 1977-10-03. Then in 1998 transferred to the museum in Drzonów.
Poland purchased 25 MiG-21 F-13 aircraft. 12 MiG-21 F-13 aircraft were sold to Syria and one set of wings from another aircraft was delivered. In Poland, the last MiG-21 F-13 aircraft was removed from its condition at the turn of 1978/1979.
In Poland there were also MiG-21 F (F-13) aircraft in the state of the Northern Group of the Red Army. In 1985, one of these aircraft was set up as a monument in the park in Szprotawa on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of the end of World War II. There is a plaque on the pedestal that reads "On the fortieth anniversary of the victory over fascism. Szprotawa 1985, 06.06. ”The aircraft probably came from production in Czechoslovakia as the S-106. This is indicated by the lack of a window behind the cabin. The plane as a monument had board number 01 painted on it, as well as red stars and checkerboard. The plane is painted every few years. In 2009, the plane was painted silver and under the wings were painted borderless chessboards.

13 PLM Łęczyca, the fifth regiment using the MiG-21 F-13, receives aircraft from other regiments in August 1964. In June 1965, it takes over the remaining machines from the 3rd and 26th PLM OPK. Other OPK regiments no longer have this version in stock.
3 PLM Wrocław-Starchowice, the sixth regiment using the MiG-21 F-13, receives machines from other units in August 1964.
40 PLM-LO Świdwin. Seventh Regiment of MiG-21 F-13. In September 1964, he receives three, and after a while another three. All of the 11th PLM Debrzno, until 1971, when the hunting regiment becomes a fighter-attack and disposes of all its MiG-21.
41 PLM-LO Malbork from 1964 to 1966. The eighth regiment using the MiG-21 F-13. Two planes were delivered from 11. PLM Debrzno.
4 PLM Goleniów, then from 1967, 2. PLM Goleniów. The ninth and last regiment exploiting the MiG-21 F-13. Planes from the 40th and 41st PLM-LO were accepted on its condition until 1967. In March 1971, the regiment is in stock all not lost MiG-21 F-13. Interestingly, the regiment in Goleniów received the first aircraft in the MiG-21 PF version (October 1965), and it was only in February 1967 that it adopted the first MiG-21 F-13.
End of operation 1973. in 2 PLM Goleniów and in general in Poland. In 1978 the remaining 5 machines preserved (including one without wings) were deleted from the state.
