Sukhoi Su-22 M4K nb 22 strike aircraft.
The entire history of the Sukhoi Su-22 M 4 K nb 22 aircraft is not known. Perhaps it was one of the aircraft that was not suitable for flights due to damage to the airframe structure. It may have been a non-flying aircraft donated by the CCCP as a teaching aid to technicians. This story is supported by the painting scheme – camouflage, which was used in the red army. In Poland, Sukhoi Su-22 aircraft have never been painted in this way.
The plane was at the technical school in Oleśnica. After dismantling the school in Oleśnica, the plane went to Radom to the military unit, as an exhibit with other aircraft. In the military unit in Radom, the Suchoj Su-22 M 4 K nb 22 aircraft had a different painting – dark camouflage.
Probably in 2018, the Su-22 M4K nb 22 aircraft was donated to the 303 Squadron Museum in Napoleon. The Sukhoi Su-22 M4K nb 22 aircraft looks good. It is possible that the side number 22 is supposed to suggest the type of Sukhoi aircraft. Therefore, there may be errors in the presented text.
It is worth adding that the Sukhoi Su-22 nb 8817 aircraft No. 28817 was also a training aircraft. The Su-22 M 4 K nb 8817 aircraft No. 28817 was brought to Poland in 1986. For unknown reasons, she was decommissioned in 2006. It was treated as a school plane. Since 2007, it has been stored at the Military University of Technology, at the Bemowo airport.
