The Yak-11 aircraft was a Soviet-made training and liaison aircraft. The Yak-11 aircraft was operated in the Polish Army as an advanced training aircraft between the basic training aircraft and the training combat aircraft. The aircraft was also used as a liaison and aerobatic aircraft.
100 CCCP aircraft were purchased for the Polish Army. Deliveries to Poland lasted from September 1949 to April 1955. At the beginning of 1955, an agreement was concluded with Czechoslovakia for the delivery of further Yak-11 machines in the Let C-11 version. The delivery of 92 Let C-11 aircraft lasted from August 1955 to July 1956. A total of 192 aircraft were purchased. Aircraft began to be withdrawn from 1961. In 1966, there were no more Yak-11 / C-11 aircraft in stock.
