Eurofighter Typhoon. 1986

History

The history of the Eurofighter Typhoon goes back to the end of 70 years, when the British company British Aerospace and the German MBB, after successful cooperation on the Tornado plane, decided to construct a new European fighter plane. The program was pre-marked with ECF – European Combat Fighter. Germany was no longer hiding it that it had rebuilt its arms industry, but it was demanding leadership in Europe. Currently (2020), we are waiting when Germany will order the institutions of the European Union to use only German as the official language. Great Britain is no longer in the European Union.

By 2015, the Eurofighter Typhoon was built in 550 copies and is in service in four European countries, participants in the program, plus Austria and Saudi Arabia. The plane did not match the American designs, which was assumed. The Eurofighter Typhoon plane has serious competitors in the form of planes: SAAB Gripen 39 and AMD Rafale.
