Roketsan MIZRAK-U missile.
Roketsan MIZRAK-U missile is a long-range anti-tank missile. The basic carriers for this type of weapon are attack helicopters and BAL. There are no obstacles to adapting the Roketsan MIZRAK-U missiles to the armament of ships, attack aircraft or stationary systems. The laser and infrared systems are responsible for the accuracy of fire. The effective range of the missiles is 8,000 m. Important advantages of the Roketsan MIZRAK-U system include the ability to capture the target before firing and after separation from the host. Another advantage of the system is firing in the "fire and forget" mode. It is also possible to update target data after launch. The missiles have a tandem warhead that is effective against targets equipped with reactive armor.
The Roketsan MIZRAK-U missile was offered as armament for the Polish Mil Mi-24 helicopters.
