Air Show in Radom is the largest international air show of military and civil aircraft in Poland. They are always part of the Aviation Day celebrations. The first Air Show was organized in 1991. in Poznań Ławica Airport, then the shows took place in Gdynia, Bydgoszcz and Dęblin. Since 2000, the Air Show has been taking place at the Sadków Airport in Radom, and since 2003. are organized every two years.

The next 13th edition of the Air Show Radom 2013 promised to be, as usual, impressive. Air Show Radom was conducted on August 24-25, 2013. (Saturday Sunday). The organizers were: the Air Force of the Republic of Poland, the Polish Aero Club, the City of Radom, the Military Social and Cultural Association "SWAT" and the Radom Airport.

Framework program for August 24 and 25, 2013: 7.30 - ticket sales. 8.00 - opening of entries to the Radom Sadków Airport. 9.00 - air shows start. 11.20 - block of the Polish Aero Club. 12.00 - official opening of the International Air Show. 12.15 - 18.30 - military block. - shows of aerobatic groups. - individual shows. 18.30 - End of the shows.

As usual, the organizers prepared themselves perfectly for this largest aviation event in the Republic of Poland, which was visited by approximately 150,000 people over the course of two days. A little less than two years earlier. There were no problems with purchasing tickets (about 40 cash registers, payable only in cash). Tickets could also be purchased via the Internet, eBilet.pl website. and in the Empik chain of stores.

Ticket prices; - normal one-day ticket - PLN 40. - concessionary one-day ticket - PLN 30 (pupils, students up to 26 years of age, retirees and pensioners upon presentation of an ID card). Free admission to the shows was granted to: children under 6, war veterans upon presentation of a veteran ID card, uniformed active service soldiers (upon presentation of an ID card), injured veterans of foreign missions of the Polish Army (upon presentation of a valid veteran ID card of the victim).

The ceremonial opening of the shows took place at 12:00 (24/08/2013) personally by the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski.

Both days of the shows were almost identical. Each day consisted of two blocks of air shows; block of Polish Aero Club and civil aviation 9; 00-11; 30 and military block 12; 00-18; 30.

The highlight of the shows was the flight of Polish military aircraft. First, the formation of the wedge of 7 TS-11 Iskra machines flew by, drawing white and red streaks. More machines came in formations like arrowheads; 6 SW-4 Puszczyk helicopters, 8 PZL-130 Orlik, 3 M-28 Bryza, 1 C-130 Herkules with 2 CASA C-295 M machines, then 6 Su-22, 5 MiG-29, 6 F-16 Hawk. It was an almost identical flight as two years earlier.

The stars of the shows from the Polish side were the bands; Orlik, Biało-Czerwone Iskry and Żelazny group. all well known in Poland and abroad. We admired from abroad; Swiss "Patrouille Suisse" on F-5 Tiger, Latvian "Baltic Bees" on L-39 Albatros, Croatian "Wings of Storm" on turboprop PC-9 M and Finnish "Midnight Hawks" on BAE Hawk aircraft.

I must admit that there was a lot to admire in the air. There were many individual shows on F-16 planes (Greek, Dutch, Polish and others). There was an extraordinary Rafale plane, a Czech JAS-39 Gripen in tiger painting. Former Ukrainian Su-27 (single and double seater). The Turkish show team Solo Turk on the F-16 debuted at the shows. During Sunday's performance of the Dutch F-16, in orange livery, flares were fired at low altitude, after which airport services had to clean the runway, and the show was interrupted for 15 minutes. There was a show by the Latvian team "Baltic Bees" flying five L-39 Albatros planes in blue and yellow colors. Once again, the Finnish Air Force's aerobatic team "Midnight Hawks" at BAE Hawk flew to Poland. These planes were offered for sale. We also saw a team of "Krila Oluje - Wings of Storm" of the Croatian Air Force flying six Pilatus PC-9 M planes. The Swiss Air Force team "Patrouille Suisse" performed in Poland for the second time on six Northrop F-5 E Tiger II planes. He ended his demonstration very effectively with the departure of six machines on the climb with the use of flares. For the second time in Radom, the S-70i Black Hawk helicopter, manufactured in PZL Mielec, was presented in the air.

During both days of the show, you could see an unusual fighter from World War II, the American F-4 Corsair. Its pilot, Eric Guyon, in addition to an excellent show in the air, during taxiing, presented the process of folding the wings and also turned the top.

All performances were at the highest world level. Each of the pilots presented themselves very spectacularly. Air Show is not only dynamic shows. There were other interesting aircraft at the static exhibition.

At the event, 200 aircraft were presented in the air and on the ground (in 2011 there were 230 machines). 20 countries took part in it (in 2011 there were 26 countries).

In addition, the weather was good for the event, and most importantly, there was no rainfall and the cloud base was high enough.
