\u015awidnik 12-07-2024<\/p>\n

4th \u015awidnik Air Festival 15-16 June 2014.<\/h3>\n

The air show in \u015awidnik took place on 15-16 June 2024 (Saturday – Sunday). The site of the show was an airfield with a grass flightfield, the former airfield of the Air and Antigas Defence League and, after World War II, of the PZL \u015awidnik plant. The airport is adjacent to the commercial airport ‘Lublin Airport’, which was launched in 2012. This year’s aviation event coincided with the 70th anniversary of the City of \u015awidnik. The main organisers were the Aeroclub of \u015awidnik, the Municipal Cultural Centre and the City of \u015awidnik.<\/p>\n

During the show, masters of aerobatics presented their skills and Polish pop stars performed on stage. Due to the close proximity of the airport, individual points of the air show had to be postponed due to take-offs and landings of scheduled aircraft.<\/p>\n

The static exhibition was very interesting, dominated by vehicles of the Polish Army, but not only. There were; 19th Lublin Mechanised Brigade, Military Property Agency, Military Recruitment Centre, Lublin Territorial Defence Brigade, Military Police, Air Force Museum in D\u0119blin, Airborne Military Academy. There were vintage motorbikes. For the youngest there were animations, an inflatable playground, concerts and games.<\/p>\n

It is worth mentioning that the event was very well organised, it was ticketed and spectators were given wristbands that allowed them to leave the area and return again. Those who arrived at the show in their own cars had paid and free parking available. The weather was good and the spectators were able to enjoy themselves. Due to the location of the spectator area and the show area, photos During the event, there were sightseeing flights, which were performed with two Robinson R-44 helicopters.<\/p>\n
