The mail car was with original painting and equipment. For some time it was used as the ticket office of the Railway Open Air Museum in Chabowka. Inside, there are shelves for letters, a coal stove and a place to serve customers.

The wagon has two narrow windows on each side, two double doors and a slot for letters and postcards. There are two wooden stairs under each door. The wagon is supported on a metal frame and three axles. The chassis is sprung with leaf springs. Plain bearings were used. There is a battery box under the frame. The wagon was painted green (dark olive) with a red stripe with a white border. There were inscriptions: POCZTA, Emblem of the Republic of Poland, PKP, Gmy 38 581.

Until 2009, the wagon looked good. Currently (2023) the wagon requires renovation, door repair and painting.
