Brief history of Oleśnica Airport:
1935-1945, German military airfield. 1945-1950, the airport in Russian hands. 1951-1955, School of junior aviation specialists. 1955-1970, Air Force Officers' Technical School. 1970 - 1990, Central Training Center for Technical Specialists of the Air Force. 1990-2002, Aviation and Engineering Training Center. Until 2003, the airport had the EPOA code. 2011, the airport was changed to a landing site. 2013, closure of the landing field.
