On January 1, 2010, by order of the Ministry of National Defense, the 32nd Air Base and the 10th Tactical Aviation Squadron were reformed and the 32nd Tactical Air Base was established. In this way, two organizational units became a monolith.

The 32nd Tactical Air Base plays an important role in the defense system of the Republic of Poland. The base operates within the NATO system of which Poland has been a member since 1999. Lockheed Martin F-16 Jastrząb planes have been stationed at the Base since 2008.
