Poland
History
History
Italy is a country that has a very rich aviation tradition and aircraft production. To date, there are several aviation factories in Italy. One of them is the Construzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam, a little known in Poland. Its main plant is in Casoria. Casoria is a district of Naples and the plant is based at the airport "Aeoroporto Internationale di Napoli".
Construzioni Aeronautiche Tecnam has been manufacturing aircraft since 1948. The company has been operating in its present form since 1986. The company’s founders were the brothers Luigi Pascale and Giovanni Pascale, aviation designers and manufacturers.
The plant builds general aviation aircraft and produces parts for aircraft from other manufacturers. The company produced, among others, parts for Boeing and ATR aircraft.
At one point in the world the light aircraft market opened, the brothers Luigi Pascale and Giovanni Pascale designed and started producing the P.92 aircraft. The plane was successful and found buyers. The brothers died, but their nephew Paolo and his son Giovanni continued their family business.
The company was growing and opened another Capua plant located in the vicinity of the Oreste Salomone airport. In 2015, an aircraft sales facility was established in the US market in Sebring, Florida. A similar facility was opened in Australia in 2018.
To date (2019), the company has produced over 5,500 aircraft, in over 33 types and varieties. These aircraft went to 65 countries around the world.
The Tecnam planes are built mainly using aluminum alloys and plastics. The aircraft are powered by piston engines, mainly 100 HP Rotax 912S engines. Airplanes are built as low-wing and high-wing aircraft. Some aircraft have a retractable landing gear. Airplanes have equipment to fly in accordance with ultralight aviation regulations or to fly in accordance with general aviation regulations as a regular certified light aircraft. Therefore, the aircraft have standard cockpit or glass cockpit equipment. Airplanes may be certified according to EASA VLA (very light aircraft) in Europe or LSA in the United States. Planes are used in the category; general aviation, school aviation, sport and tourist aviation.
Tecnam P2006T
The Tecnam P2006T is intended for tourist tasks as an air taxi and training new pilots.
The Tecnam P2006T was designed by Luigi Pascale. The aircraft has a list price of around USD 450,000. The Tecnam P2006T is a twin-engine, four-seater. It has two Rotax 912S piston engines with 2 x 100 HP, variable pitch propellers and retractable undercarriage. He made his first flight in 2007-09-13. Production started in 2010. Tecnam P2006T was certified by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) in 2009. The aircraft received FAA Part 23 certificate in 2010. In 2015, the company established cooperation with Chnami and Shenyang Aircraft Corporation to obtain the Chinese-certified certificate so that aircraft could be sold in China, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Currently (2019) there are about 20 Tecnam P2006T aircraft in Europe. For example, the aircraft are used in Italian Military Aviation (3 units) and in the Dominican Republic. Most aircraft are in private hands.
Tecnam P2006T in Poland.
The first Tecnam P2006T aircraft was purchased for the Bartolini Air Training Center in 2010. The aircraft received registration SP-DZW. The aircraft was equipped with Garmin’s glass-cockpit.
In 2013, another Tecnam P2006T aircraft was purchased for the same center, which received SP-MED registration.
In 2014, two more Tecnam P2006T aircraft with registrations arrived in Poland; SP-MAC (owned by Ventum Air), SP-GBA (private property).
In 2015, the fifth Tecnam P2006T aircraft with SP-ULC registration arrived in Poland, which went to the Smart Aviation school at Poznań Ławica airport.
In 2017, the third Tecnam P2006T aircraft was purchased for the Bartolini Air Aviation Training Center, which received registration SP-RNP.
In 2017, the Tecnam P2006T aircraft was purchased for the LOT Flight Academy school in Jasionka near Rzeszów. SP-LFA registration.
The Tecnam P2006T aircraft was purchased by LOT Flight Academy. The aircraft was brand new and is intended for pilot training for PLL LOT. The aircraft is certified for IFR flights. It is equipped with Garmin 950 digital avionics, glass cockpit and autopilot. At LOT Flight Academy, Tecnam P2006T is used in training for the MEP (L) multi-engine aircraft class, for qualifications for flights according to IR / ME instruments and for the professional license CPL (A). Thanks to economical engines, training costs are relatively low. A pilot trained on the Tecnam P2006T can sit on the first officer’s seat on the Bombardier 8 Q 400.
The Tecnam P2006T aircraft at LOT Flight Academy, so far (2019), there is only one. Carries SP-LFA registration.

Construction
The Tecnam P2006T aircraft is intended for business and tourist tasks, as an air taxi and for training new pilots.
The Tecnam P2006T is a four-seater, two-engine. Built mainly of aluminum alloys. A rectangular hull with rounded corners. Access to the cabin is provided by the door on the left and right of the hull. Emergency hatches are located above the front seats.
Aircraft control surfaces are moved by pushers, not cables.
Drive: Two ROTAX 912 S3 piston engines, 2 x 100 HP. The engines are four-cylinder, horizontal (boxer layout). The engines have carburetors, but the fuel-air mixture is adjusted automatically. The engines are liquid-cooled and run electrically on the ground and in air if necessary. It is not possible to start the engine in the air by turning the propeller with flowing air. Therefore, with the FAA Part 23 certification, a second battery had to be added.
Propellers have two blades, set. (2-bladed MT Propeller MTV-21, 1.78 m (5 ft 10 in) diameter).Equipment: Garmin G950 Glasscockpit, Autopilot, ELT, Transponder with S modem, Traffic Alert System (TAS), NAV / COM / GPS.
