32 Aviation Regiment of Artillery Recognition.
32 Aviation Regiment of Tactical Recognition in Sochaczew.
1963 – 1998.

History 32. PLRT.
In 1963, at the Bielice airport near Sochaczew, the 21st reconnaissance aviation regiment was based. Because reconnaissance aviation developed and a new air technique was introduced, therefore organizational changes were necessary. On April 12, 1963, the order of the Aviation Army Commander No. 030/Org. On its basis, the 21st Reconnaissance Regiment became the 21st Aviation Regiment of Tactical Recognition, and on the basis of its part it was established for the functioning of the 32nd Aviation Regiment of Artillery Recognition as JW.1031. These changes became clear when we see the equipment that was used by both regiments. 21. PLRT left IL-28 aircraft, i.e. aircraft of distant (tactical) recognition. On the other hand, 32. Plast has accepted various types of Lim aircraft, as well as helicopters, i.e. close recognition.
Organizational structure 32 PLRA:
- 1 of the Tactical Recognition Aviation Squadron.
- 2 of the Tactical Recognition Aviation Squadron.
- 3 of the Tactical Recognition Aviation Squadron – was dissolved in 1989. – The last commander was Maj. Pil. Wiesław Wojtasiak.
- Flight security and insurance battalion.
- Supply battalion.
- Technical squadron.
At that time, the basic reconnaissance aircraft were; single-seater Lim-2 R, Lim-2, two-seater SB Lim-2 A, SB LIM-1. Helicopters were the second group; SM-1, SM-2.

On February 19, 1964, 32. Plast received a banner as a gift from the society of the city of Kutno.
MiG-21 R. 1972.
In 1968, the first two copies of the MiG-21 R reconnaissance aircraft No. 94 R 011422, 94 r 01423 appeared in Poland, which replaced Lim-2 R. They were introduced for equipment 41. PLM in Malbork and began service on September 28, 1968. In 1969, another two MiG-21 arrived in Poland. In 1971, there were already 12 copies of these aircraft. It was planned that the most important hunting regiments were equipped with the key of such aircraft. Just like it was with Lim-2 R aircraft. However, it turned out that, of course, the machines collect information very quickly, but there is later a problem with its interpretation in relation to the entire area of Poland. Since the MiG-21 R range is sufficient in relation to the country, it was intentional to collect all the MiG-21 R reconnaissance aircraft in one regiment. The choice fell to the airport in Sochaczew.
The first reconnaissance MiG-21 R was brought to Sochaczew on January 13, 1972 by Soviet pilots. The adopted machines had factory numbers: 94r01064, 94r021071, 94r021125, 94r021273, 94r021311, 94r021375, 94r021412, 94r022051, 94r022097, 94r02213, 94r022355, 94r022426, 94R022503 and 94R022617. Aircraft, as in previous supplies, both the R version and earlier varieties, did not have tactical numbers, signs of state affiliation, as well as operating inscriptions.Simultaneously with aircraft, “D” and “R” reconnaissance tanks were delivered, some of which flew installed directly on the aircraft. In the same month (January 1972) another batch of aircraft was delivered, with factory numbers: 94r021085, 94r021101, 94r021139, 94r021507, 94r022089, 94r022111, 94r022301, 94r022402, 94r022533 and 94r022657, at the same time finishing the delivery of this version. In a total of 4 years, 36 aircraft in 5 throws were brought to Poland, which was equipped with 32. PLRTIA, creating the core of reconnaissance aviation. The first 12 copies were also transferred to Sochaczew.
MiG-21 R aircraft served for a long time. In 1990, there were 32 pieces in Polish aviation. As a result of the lack of financial resources from the first half of 1991, the first batch of 7 machines was directed to cassation at the airport in Mierzęcice. Therefore, in mid-1991, 32 PLRT had 24 MIG-21 R aircraft and 6 MIG-21 Aircraft UM. The machines targeted at cassation were newer machines, which, however, had a second renovation. The other machines were already made at the end of the 80-year-old and had a lot of Resurs.

These were the latest machines that awaited the second main renovation.
