1-12 MiG-17 PF, Second half of 1955. Purchased from CCCP. As part of the UW, a pursuit unit (independent squadron) was established at the Bemowo airport. 12 aircraft.

1-3 Lim-5. Zero series, pre-production consisting of 3 aircraft; 1C 00-01, 1C 00-02, 1C 00-03. The first aircraft was built on 25.05.1956. The aircraft were subjected to factory and military tests.
4-22 Lim-5. First series from 1C 01-01 to 1C 01-19. 19 aircraft of the first series. Built in the second half of 1956. By the end of 1957, 222 Lim-5 machines were built, of which 77 were transferred to the army.
Lim-5 1C 01-01 / 101. Built in 1956. The fourth Lim-5 built in Poland. In 2005, the aircraft was in the Katyn museum in Warsaw.
23-42 Lim-5. Second series from 1C 02-01 to 1C 02-20. 20 aircraft in the second series. Built in the second half of 1956.
Lim-5 and from 1959, as Lim-5 R Nr 1C 02-01 / 201, built in 1956. The aircraft underwent tests from 8.02.1957 to 19.04.1957. The tests were carried out by pilots Z. Stręk, Z. Korab and M. Skowroński. The aircraft served as a production model. In March 1958, the aircraft was transferred to the Aviation Institute and relocated to the airport in Bemowo. The pilots were Major Antoni Parol, Captain Józef Menet and Major Józef Luty. The tests were completed only in December 1959. Later, the AFA-39 device was mounted on this specimen, under the middle part of the fuselage, thus creating the Lim-5 R aircraft.

Lim-5 / attack aircraft No. 1C 19-04 / 1904. In 1960, the army left this aircraft as the third one to work on an attack aircraft.

1-17 Lim-5 P. First production series from 1D 01-01 to 1D 01-17. 17 aircraft were built. Delivered in the period January – April 1959.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 01-02 / 102. In 2002, as a monument in Czaplinek. Rebuilt to the fighter-attack version Lim-6MR. Currently preserved as a monument in front of the school in Czaplinek.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 01-03 / 103. Lost on May 9, 1961. The navigation system failed. The pilot lost his orientation, and after regaining it, due to lack of fuel, he was ordered to abandon the aircraft. The pilot landed safely. Góra Kalwaria area.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 01-04 / 104. The aircraft was operated in Modlin from 1959 to 1969. In 1969, the electrical system failed during the flight. The aircraft landed without the left landing gear extended. The damaged aircraft was repaired. On July 30, 1970, in Świdwin, the front landing gear broke off during landing. The damaged airframe was written off.

Due to a fire, the pilot aborted the takeoff and rolled out of the RWY. The pilot retracted the landing gear and completed the takeoff run on the MiG-pad. The aircraft was repaired.

Lim-5 P No. 1D 04-20. Built in 1960. Crashed on August 15, 1963. Due to lack of fuel, the pilot ejected over the sea, and a strong wind from the sea directed him over land. The pilot landed safely on a parachute.

Lim-5 P No. 1D 05-08. Built in 1960. Served in the 25th PLM. The plane crashed on April 30, 1964, 4 km from the Bąk railway station. The pilot probably lost consciousness.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 05-09 / 509. Built in 1960. The plane was damaged during a two-point landing. The plane was repaired. Scrapped in 1979. In 2004, as an exhibit in Ustianów.

Lim-5 P No. 1D 05-22. Built in 1960. Served in the 11th PLM. Rebuilt to the Lim-6M fighter-attack version. In 1964, there was a collision with another Lim-5 aircraft while taxiing. The aircraft was repaired. On January 26, 1966, there was a disaster. The aircraft hit the ground. The pilot probably suffocated in fuel fumes due to an installation failure.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 05-23. Built in 1960. Served in the 11th PLM. Rebuilt to the Lim-6M fighter-attack version. Scrapped on August 30, 1985. Preserved in Siemirowice as a monument at a bus stop.

During its service, the aircraft was damaged three times and repaired. After the third accident, the aircraft fuselage was used and the wings and tail from another aircraft were installed.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 06-08. Built in 1960. Served in the 45th PLM. Rebuilt to the Lim-6M fighter-attack version. In 1963, during its service, the aircraft was damaged during a landing at an alternate airport. The landing gear was damaged and in 1964, the aircraft was written off.
Lim-5 P No. 1D 06-09. Built in 1960. Served in the 2nd PLM. Rebuilt to the Lim-6M fighter-attack version. Scrapped in 1979, and was transferred to the technical school in Oleśnica. At the beginning of the 90s, sold to the owner of the “Perfecta” company from Wrocław and set up as an advertisement for the company in the town of Smardzów. The aircraft was sold in 2005 to France.
