317 Tally 2009-11-23. Mc Donnell-Douglas / Boeing C-17, is an American long-range military transport aircraft with unique flight characteristics. The Polish Army participates in the operation of these aircraft in Europe. Although the C-17 A Globemaster III planes do not wear Polish checkerboards, they serve the Polish Air Force and are operated by Polish airmen. However, the C-17 A Globemaster III was close to wearing Polish chessboards.
