The case of planes for the transport of Very Important Person in the Republic of Poland in 2012.
Why planes at the disposal of the rulers?
The specificity of serving people in the highest positions in the Republic of Poland or in other countries requires their presence in various, often very distant places of the world. The presence of heads of state is required when signing various agreements, understandings or in conflict situations. Many decision-making centers are located outside the capitals of a given country. There are supranational structures, such as the European Union, the UN and NATO. So the movement of officials is embedded in their positions. If the journey is shorter, it is less tiring and the results can be much better for the politics of a given country. As a result, time is saved, and more matters are completed and problems are resolved. Therefore, aviation becomes the natural means of transport; helicopters and airplanes.
Air traffic services throughout the Free World honor the priority of planes with VIP on board. These are undoubtedly special care planes. Not only in the air, but also on the ground. Airplanes are specially protected. Only appropriately authorized persons are allowed to operate and service them. Mainly due to the systems installed on their decks. Can we imagine a president going through security and baggage clearance to board a cruise plane?
Nowadays, it is difficult to imagine that in a normal state, the authorities would not use their own government planes. Starting from the USA and ending with countries that are hard to suspect of applying democratic principles.
